A petrol station forecourt never sleeps, and its overhead canopy lighting is the most important thing drivers see. Safe High Level Work & Removing the Old Lights

Working safely over active petrol pumps requires strict safety rules and the right machinery. Our team deployed heavy duty scissor lifts to reach the wide underside of the canopy ceiling safely, keeping the work area secure while removing the old equipment.

Using the Scissor Lift for High Ceiling Work

Our team used a specialized JLG scissor lift to get a steady, elevated working platform directly beneath the high canopy roof.

Removing the Old Light Fixtures

Our team systematically went through each recessed ceiling pocket to safely disconnect and take down the old, existing metal light frames.

Ditching Old, Power Hungry Equipment

The filling station's original setup relied on old fashioned fluorescent tubes and large, bulky components. These old parts were prone to breaking down quickly, buzzing constantly, and pulling a huge amount of electricity.

Bulky, Dim Fluorescent Bulbs

The old system used large, spiraled fluorescent light units that gave off dim, uneven lighting across the petrol station lanes.

Safe Disposal & Recycling

All the old light units, metal frames, and electrical starters were safely lowered to the ground, sorted, and organized on site so they could be sent off for proper commercial recycling.

Fitting the New Slimline LED Panels

With the old frames cleared out, our team prepped the ceiling openings for the new, low profile, energy efficient LED panels. These new lights are designed specifically to handle tough, outdoor commercial environments.

Checking the Parts Before Installation

Our team double checked the brackets and electronic power drivers on the new LED panels right from the lift platform before fitting them flat into the ceiling.

Wiring and Mounting the New Lights

The slim panels were wired directly into the main power loops and securely fastened into the slatted ceiling, giving the entire forecourt a clean, modern look.

Final Testing & Long Distance Nighttime Visibility
