Indoor Cricket Center Lighting & Electrical Fit Out

Good lighting makes a world of difference when you are trying to spot a fast moving cricket ball indoors. At EIS Electrical, we love taking big, empty spaces and turning them into bright, useful facilities. For this project, we worked inside a massive warehouse building to install the complete electrical system for a brand new indoor cricket training center.

We hung long metal cable trays across the ceiling, wired up ultra bright LED lights, and got everything powered up safely so players can practice their batting and bowling all year round.

Checking Out the Empty Space & Moving In

We started with a completely empty, wide open warehouse space with high ceilings and tall concrete pillars. Before installing anything, we brought in our tools, big spools of wire, and heavy lifting gear to make sure we could safely reach every corner of the ceiling.

Installing Ceiling Cable Trays from Scissor Lifts

To hold all the heavy power cables neatly along the roof, we put together a network of long, perforated metal trays. Because the ceiling was so high, our team used mechanical scissor lifts to drive around the space and mount the brackets safely.

Wiring the Hanging LED Lights & Spotlights

Once the metal trays were securely up, we laid out the cables and started fitting the actual lights. We used a mix of long fluorescent tube lights for general brightness, round hanging UFO style LED lights, and targeted spotlights to make sure there are zero dark spots on the playing lanes.

The Big Test: Lighting Up the Cricket Nets

With all the wires connected and the main fuse boards sorted, we turned the power on. The difference was night and day! The bright, white lights completely flooded the warehouse, making it look incredibly spacious just as the artificial green cricket turf was being rolled out on the floor.
